Public Education Flexibility and Choice Act (Bill 28)

In January 2002, the BC Liberal government passed Bill 28 ( Public Education Flexibility and Choice Act ). The legislation was part of a set of laws that dismantled collective agreements across the public sector. BC post-secondary educators sought redress through the International Labour Organization and continue to pursue legal action concering this legislation.
