Committees

A critical part of FPSE's constitutional structure is its Standing Committee system. These Committees provide an essential link between the Presidents' Council and the membership. Through these Committees, FPSE is able to develop policy, design campaigns, establish priorities, but most of all, share information, experience and insights across all of our member faculty associations.

The real effectiveness of our Standing Committees starts with member involvement. We encourage activists in every local to work through their local executive and participate on one of our 10 Standing Committees. The Committees meet in Vancouver at least twice a year. Committees also are able to participate in our Spring Conference held every February. This event provides an opportunity for members to hear about some of the critical issues in post-secondary education and labour relations.

Follow the links to find out more about our Committees, their terms of reference as well as some of their on-going projects. We encourage every member to find out how they can contribute to the work we do. Your voice can make a real difference.
